Texas Center for the Judiciary - Judicial ListServ

The Texas Center for the Judiciary (TCJ) sponsors a judicial listserv for judges that preside over impaired driving cases. This judicial listserv has been developed by TCJ through a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation. Judges who participate must agree to the Terms of Use (see below).

The purposes of this judicial listserv are to (1) provide judges who hear impaired driving cases with up-to-date information on laws, legislation, and procedures that affect the operations of Texas courts and the handling of impaired driving cases; (2) allow judicial participants to network, problem solve, and share with others about concerns and problems that arise in their courts with regard to impaired driving cases; and (3) distribute information relevant to judges who hear impaired driving cases, such as forms, information on publications, and seminars.

Judicial users must be careful to not send irrelevant messages as they will be blocked from participation.

To join the judicial listserv, send your name, title, court name, telephone number, and email address to Ann Blankenship, Ph.D.,J.D., Research and Grant Program Manager, Texas Center for the Judiciary, 1210 San Antonio, Suite 800, Austin, TX 78701, or email this information to annb@yourhonor.com. Once your eligibility has been verified, you’ll receive subscription directions.

What is a Listserv?

Listservs work like a mailing list of people who are interested in the same topics. One person can correspond with many people at once. Every message posted to the list is sent to all of the list subscribers by electronic mail and received automatically.
